People usually come with overlapping symptoms. These six areas are broad starting points for understanding what may be going on and what type of training may be most relevant.
Feeling constantly "on" and unable to switch off
Stress & Burnout
Anxiety, PTSD, panic, chronic stress
Trouble falling asleep or waking unrefreshed
Sleep
Insomnia, night waking, nightmares, poor recovery
Difficulty focusing, mental fatigue, or inconsistent concentration
Focus & Attention
ADHD, autism, brain fog, head injury, TBI
Feeling easily overwhelmed, reactive, or low
Emotional Regulation
Depression, OCD, addictive behaviors, cravings
Wanting to function with more consistency under pressure
Performance
Sports, business, media, arts
Living with persistent symptoms that are hard to tune out
Pain & Tinnitus
Chronic pain, migraine, fibromyalgia, tinnitus
I use a combination of assessment and training tools depending on the person, the context, and the goal.
Training based on real-time brain activity, used to support regulation, sleep, focus, and performance.
NeurofeedbackDetailed EEG-based brain mapping that reveals activity patterns and helps guide the next steps.
qEEG AssessmentRed light therapy using red and near-infrared wavelengths to support brain regulation and tissue recovery.
PBM / PhotobiomodulationTraining based on body signals such as breathing, heart rate, temperature, and skin conductance.
BiofeedbackOver the past 15 years, I have worked across academia, startups, and industry, including at the U.S. FDA's Office of Clinical Pharmacology. My research has focused on understanding how diseases actually work at the biological level: what's going wrong inside cells, how those changes show up as symptoms, and what that means for treatment and regulatory decisions. My PhD is in Systems Biology, a field that looks at how the many parts of a biological system behave together, with a focus on human disease.
It is exactly this systems medicine approach that I bring to the field of neurofeedback and biofeedback. We begin by developing a deep understanding of your unique case, analyzing any past data you may have, and carefully selecting what to measure next. This in turn helps us uncover patterns and guide training and regulation in a science-based, data-driven way.
"Dimitris brings a rare combination of scientific rigor, deep clinical thinking, and genuine care to his work. He approaches each case with exceptional depth and precision, using measurements in a highly individualized way and translating complex physiology into clear, clinically meaningful next steps. His work reflects a level of rigor, maturity, and personalization that is truly rare in clinical practice."
